Terms of Service

Effective: February 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Peppd platform ("the Service"), including Pep-enabled Business Cards, Messaging Mugs, and any other products offered under the Peppd brand. The Service is operated by Peppercord Limited (Company No. 06921097), trading as NotLuck, with its registered office in Nottingham, United Kingdom. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Peppd, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using any Peppd product, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Account Registration and Responsibility

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and a secure password. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account, whether or not authorised by you.
• Ensuring that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

You must notify us immediately at hello@peppd.co.uk if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

3. The Service

Peppd provides a platform that makes printed and physical products interactive through QR codes. Our current products include:

Pep-enabled Business Cards

• Create and manage QR-linked landing pages for your business cards and other print materials.
• Capture leads through contact forms embedded on your landing pages.
• View analytics about how and when your QR codes are scanned.
• Download QR codes for use on cards, promotional materials, and packaging.

Messaging Mugs

• Purchase a physical mug with a unique QR code linked to personal or pre-written messages.
• Create personal messages with text, photos, and videos, or choose from curated Content Packs with pre-written themed content.
• Set a time-gated schedule so recipients discover new messages over time as they scan the QR code on their mug.
• View analytics on when and how recipients access your messages.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where practicable.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, publish, or distribute any content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or otherwise objectionable. This includes messages, photos, and videos created for Messaging Mugs.
• Send unsolicited communications (spam) or use the platform for phishing or deceptive purposes.
• Upload content to Messaging Mugs that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others, or that contains harmful, threatening, or harassing material.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts, data, or any part of our infrastructure, including other users' mug messages or media.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms.

5. Intellectual Property

The Peppd platform, including its design, code, features, branding, and documentation, is owned by Peppercord Limited and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform without our written permission.

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service (including text, images, logos, profile information, and messages, photos, and videos created for Messaging Mugs). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and delivering it to your intended recipients.

Content Packs available for Messaging Mugs are created by or licensed to Peppercord Limited. You may use Content Pack material solely through the Service and may not reproduce, redistribute, or resell it outside the platform.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with or relies upon certain third-party providers:

• Print Co — all physical Peppd products (cards and mugs) are produced exclusively through Print Co. Orders placed through Print Co are subject to their own terms and conditions.
• Stripe — processes payments for Messaging Mugs purchases. Your use of Stripe is subject to Stripe's Terms of Service.
• Supabase — provides database, authentication, and file storage infrastructure.
• Resend — handles transactional email delivery.
• Netlify — provides hosting services.

We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or availability of third-party services. Your use of these services may be subject to their own terms.

7. Fees and Payment

Peppd offers both free and paid features across its products. Details of available plans and pricing are displayed on our website.

• Pep-enabled Business Cards — subscription-based plans for card management and analytics.
• Messaging Mugs — one-time purchase per mug, processed securely via Stripe. All Messaging Mugs sales are final once the mug has been produced and dispatched. Refund requests for defective or damaged products should be directed to hello@peppd.co.uk.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days' notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• Peppercord Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
• Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty pounds (£50), whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@peppd.co.uk. Upon account closure, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. For Messaging Mugs, termination means your messages and media will no longer be accessible to recipients via QR code. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law will survive termination.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by placing a notice on the website. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
